What's in it and why:

Flower Hydrolates (Waters)
Rose and Neroli - hydrolates are produced during the steam distillation of the flowers to obtain the essential oil. They are the water 'by product' so contain all the water soluble goodness from the flowers. Rose and Neroli hydrolates are extremely soothing, calming and moisturising on the skin. Also mildly astringent they are good toners. The aroma is divine!

Plant Oils - naturally packed with vitamins and omega oils to nourish, condition, rejuvenate and protect the skin.
Poppy seed oil - excellent for dehydrated and ageing skin. Rich in omega 6 and 9 it penetrates the skin easily and deeply and helps prevent trans-dermal water loss, making skin soft, hydrated and supple. Also aids absorption of other oils.
Macadamia nut oil  - rich in palmitoleic acid which occurs naturally in the skin (but reduces with age), the function of which is to maintain moisture levels. Macadamia oil is therefore an excellent moisturiser and nourishes older, drier skin.
Pumpkin seed oil - rich in omega 6 and 9 and also magnesium. Tones and lifts the skin making it firmer.
Camellia seed oil - keeps skin soft and supple and promotes a radiant glow. It is protective to the skin as it naturally contains vitamins A, D, E, K as well as polyphenols and natural antioxidants that safeguard skin from the damaging effects of free radicals.
Pomegranate seed oil - an amazing and potent oil that nourishes and rejuvenates skin. It is a source of punicic acid, also known as omega-5. Punicic acid is a potent antioxidant and protects the skin against free radical damage and premature ageing. It also contains ellagic acid, a natural phenol antioxidant.
Pure Essential Oils – Neroli, Frankincense and Rose Geranium. Chosen to soothe, tone and revitalise maturing skin. A gorgeous aroma.

Plant Extracts and Actives - give the skin that extra boost! 
Eco marine algae extract - really is a wonder ingredient! Naturally rich in carotenoids, essential fatty acids and sterols that have many benefits for ageing skin. It is soothing, improves skin tone and elasticity, and restores suppleness and radiance. It is Ecocert approved for use in organic and natural cosmetics.  The algae is grown in purpose built eco-friendly facilities which means the ocean is not disturbed by wild harvesting and purity can be guaranteed.
Acmella flower extract - has remarkable ability to visibly firm and smooth the skin, so giving it a lifted appearance. It has been hailed by some as 'botox in a bottle!' The extract is 100% natural and extracted from the plant buds which are harvested by hand so the plant is preserved. It is grown in South Africa by a co-operative of farmers in a bid to develop the local African economy.
Hyaluronic acid - commonly known as the ‘fountain of youth’. It binds water so hydrates the skin giving it fullness and volume, It is key in many products intended to make skin look more youthful and fresh. The hyaluronic acid in this cream is of botanical origin, made by a yeast, glucose and soy bio-fermentation process. It is Ecocert approved for use in natural and organic cosmetics.

Vitamins
Vitamin E - an antioxidant that is soothing and softening. Promotes healthy skin growth and keeps fine lines at bay. It is natural and extracted from non GM crops, mainly sunflower.
Vitamin A - vital in products that promote healthy skin growth. It improves texture and radiance and diminishes the look of fine lines. It doesn't occur 100% naturally but is derived from plant sources, usually palm oil. I am mindful to only use Vitamin A derived from sustainable palm oil according to RSPO (Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil) certification.

Misc
Cetearyl olivate, sorbitan olivate - emulsifier to hold the oils and water together in a cream. It is derived from olive oil and is silky on the skin and hydrating. It is Ecocert certified for use in natural and organic cosmetics.
Preservative - Has to be included, otherwise the product would go mouldy in days. The one used in this cream is Ecocert certified for use in natural and organic cosmetics.
