Intensive yet light and easily absorbed face oil blended especially to firm, refine and nourish dry/maturing/lined skin, giving it a fresh and radiant, more youthful appearance. It's great as a night oil to replenish and condition skin whilst you sleep, or is equally as good used in the daytime, especially in Winter, although if using foundation/make up it may be better just used at night. Packed with beneficial plants oils, along with Eco marine algae extract, Acmella flower extract, Vitamins E and A and pure essential oils.

What's in it and why

  • Plant Oils - naturally packed with vitamins and omega oils to nourish, condition, rejuvenate and protect the skin.
    Poppy seed oil - excellent for dehydrated and ageing skin. Rich in omega 6 and 9 it penetrates the skin easily and deeply and helps prevent trans-dermal water loss, making skin soft, hydrated and supple. Also aids absorption of other oils.
    Macadamia nut oil - rich in palmitoleic acid which occurs naturally in the skin (but reduces with age), the function of which is to maintain moisture levels. Macadamia oil is therefore an excellent moisturiser and nourishes older, drier skin.
    Pumpkin seed oil - rich in omega 6 and 9 and also magnesium. Tones and lifts the skin making it firmer.
    Camellia seed oil - keeps skin soft and supple and promotes a radiant radiant glow. It is protective to the skin as it naturally contains vitamins A, D, E, K as well as polyphenols and natural antioxidants that safeguard skin from the damaging effects of free radicals.
    Pomegranate seed oil - an amazing and potent oil that nourishes and rejuvenates skin. It is a source of punicic acid, also known as omega-5. Punicic acid is a potent antioxidant and protects the skin against free radical damage and premature ageing. It also contains ellagic acid, a natural phenol antioxidant.
    Rosehip seed oil - contains naturally occurring retinoic acid and a good balance of omega 3,6 and 9 fatty acids so is excellent for promoting healthy skin growth and soothing sensitive skin. It's light in texture and easily absorbed. Gives skin natural radiance and glow.
    Borage seed oil - rich in GLA (gamma linoleic acid) and easily absorbed, it helps combat skin dryness and promote elasticity. Nourishes and hydrates maturing skin.
    Pure Essential Oils – Neroli, Frankincense, Rose Geranium. Chosen to soothe, tone and revitalise maturing skin. A gorgeous aroma.
     
  • Plant Extracts and Actives - give the skin that extra boost! Eco marine algae extract - really is a wonder ingredient! Naturally rich in carotenoids, essential fatty acids and sterols that have many benefits for ageing skin. It is soothing, improves skin tone and elasticity, and restores suppleness and radiance. It is Ecocert approved for use in organic and natural cosmetics. The algae is grown in purpose built eco-friendly facilities which means the ocean is not disturbed by wild harvesting and purity can be guaranteed.
    Acmella flower extract - has remarkable ability to visibly firm and smooth the skin, so giving it a lifted appearance. It has been hailed by some as 'botox in a bottle!' The extract is 100% natural and extracted from the plant buds which are harvested by hand so the plant is preserved. It is grown in South Africa by a co-operative of farmers in a bid to develop the local African economy. process.
     
  • Vitamins
    Vitamin E     - an antioxidant that is soothing and softening. Promotes healthy skin growth and keeps fine lines at bay. It is natural and extracted from non GM crops, mainly sunflower.
    Rosemary leaf extract - added as an antioxidant to naturally prolong the shelf life and freshness of the product. Organically produced in the UK and often used in food.
     
  • Misc
    Emollient     - isoamyl laurate, isoamyl cocoate. Included as it aids the rapid absorption of oils and makes the product less greasy. Has a silky, luxurious feel on the skin and is made from renewable natural sources such as sugarbeet and coconut. It is Ecocert certified for use in natural and organic cosmetics.
