What's in it and why
 

• Plant Oils - naturally packed with vitamins and omega oils to gently soothe, nourish and replenish sensitive skin.
  Rosehip - contains naturally occurring retinoic acid and a good balance of omega 3,6 and 9 fatty acids so is excellent for promoting healthy skin growth and soothing sensitive skin. It's light in texture and easily absorbed.
  Marshmallow root - macerated in Sunflower oil, soothing on skin and helps maintain moisture.
  Calendula - infused in Sunflower oil,  the classic herb for soothing and calming sensitive and irritated skin.
  Rice Bran oil - rich in omega 6 and 9 and tocopherols, it is an excellent moisturiser. Soothes, conditions and protects damaged skin.
  Jojoba oil - keeps skin soft and hydrated by preventing trans-dermal water loss. Protects and acts a barrier to harsh conditions.
  Rose absolute - chosen for its beautiful aroma and suitablility for soothing and toning sensitive skin.
   
• Plant Extracts and Vitamins – to give skin that extra boost!
  Bisabolol - a constituent of German Chamomile but can also be obtained from the Candeia tree. Incredibly soothing and calming on the skin, lessens skin reddness and irritation. Gives skin healthy glow. For sustainability reasons the bisabolol used here is a copy of the natural ingredient, but it has the exact same properties.  
  Vitamin E - an antioxidant that is soothing and softening. Promotes healthy skin growth and keeps fine lines at bay. It is natural and extracted from non GM crops, mainly sunflower.
  Vitamin A - vital in products that promote healthy skin growth. It improves texture and radiance and diminishes the look of fine lines. It doesn't occur 100% naturally but is derived from plant sources, usually palm oil. I am mindful to only use Vitamin A derived from sustainable palm oil according to RSPO (Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil) certification.
  Rosemary leaf extract - added as an antioxidant to naturally prolong the shelf life and freshness of the product. Organically produced in the UK and often used in food.
   
• Misc
  Emollient  - isoamyl laurate, isoamyl cocoate. Included as it aids the rapid absorption of oils and makes the product less greasy. Has a silky, luxurious feel on the skin and is made from renewable natural sources such as sugar and coconut. It is Ecocert certified for use in natural and organic cosmetics.

Ingredients - Helianthus annuus seed oil, Rosa canina fruit oil, Althaea officinalis root extract, Calendula officinalis flower extract, Oryza sativa oil, Simmondsia chinensis seed oil, isoamyl laurate, isoamyl cocoate, Bisobolol, Tocopherol, Retinyl palmitate (vit A rspo source), Rosa centifolia (Rose absolute) flower extract, Rosmarinus officinalis leaf extract. Contains Citral, geraniol, citronellol and limonene occurring naturally in rose.
